MCS 023 Announced
The MCS 023 standard has been announced by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. The MCS 023 standard bridges the gap between MCS & Green Deal standards meaning an installer only looking to fit renewables under the Green Deal must now be compliant with MCS 001 and MCS 023 along with relevant technology MIS standards.
Previously prospective and existing MCS Installers needed to be compliant with both MCS Standard and Green Deal Standards (PAS 2030) which raised some complexities. This announcement of MCS 023 will make it far clearer for Renewable Installers to be compliant and operate under both MCS & Green Deal requirements and offer the benefits of being approved under these schemes, to their customers.
